Install ADB & Fastboot drivers in Linux | Install Android Platform Tools in Ubuntu, Kali, Arch Linux, Manjaro, Fedora, Linux Mint etc. Install Android Platform Tools (adb & fastboot) on Ubuntu, kali, mxLinux, Opensuse, and other linux distros.

Enable USB Debugging & Developer Options in android:-

Install adb and fastboot drivers in all Linux Distros:-

  1. For Arch, Manjaro, Arch Based distros:-
    sudo pacman -S android-tools

  2. For Ubuntu, Kali, Debian based distros:-
    sudo apt install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot
    OR
    sudo apt install android-tools

  3. For Fedora, RedHat, Opensuse, other RPM based distros:-
    sudo dnf install android-tools

Check if device in adb mode:-
adb devices

Boot to fastboot from adb:-
adb reboot bootloader

Check device in fastboot mode:-
fastboot devices

Reboot from fastboot mode:-
fastboot reboot
