To check cached memory and buffer in RAM:-

free -m

Clear PageCache only:-

sudo sync; echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches

Clear dentries and inodes:-

sudo sync; echo 2 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches

(Not Recommended)
Clear PageCache, dentries and inodes:-

sudo sync; echo 3 > /proc/sys/vm/drop_caches

Clear Swap Space in Linux:-

sudo swapoff -a && swapon -a
